Pamela Baxter To Deliver HBA Keynote Address

LVMH perfumes & cosmetics Senior Executive to Offer Insight

HBA Global Expo has announced that one of the industry’s most successful and respected beauty and fragrance leaders, Pamela Baxter, will deliver the Keynote Address on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Special Events Hall of the Javits Center in New York. Baxter, president and chief executive officer, LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics for North America, currently has responsibility for such prestigious and recognizable brands as Dior, Givenchy, Guerlain, Acqua di Parma, and Fresh.

Baxter is a senior executive with more than 30 years of experience in the luxury cosmetic, skin care and fragrance industries. With deep roots in the beauty industry, her career has encompassed numerous positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining LVMH, she had created and shepherd brands for The Estée Lauder Companies including Crème de la Mer, Tommy, Aramis, and Jo Malone.
An active philanthropist and community member, she has also lent her leadership expertise and talent to such organizations as Gilda’s Club, Look Good/Feel Better with the American Cancer Society, and served on the board of industry organizations such as The Personal Care Products Council and CEW. She is a graduate of the UCLA School of Business.

Her speech is expected to focus on an area of great passion – what it takes to build a successful career in a highly competitive business. She will share proven approaches to networking, finding and being a mentor, and how to control your own professional development and career path.
